In Home Intervention Program |
IHIP's Goal The goal of Southern Maryland Community Network's In Home Intervention Program is to reduce institutional placements or reunify families following an out of home placement.
 |
IHIP provides the following:
- In home services for children, adolescents and their families which will
strengthen family functioning
- Intervene during crisis/emergency situations and teach coping skills
- Provide linkages to benefits and services that will empower the
consumer and their family
|
In home intensive services include:
- Evaluation and assessment
- Youth and family directed Individualized Service Planning (ISP)
- Counseling, crisis intervention and stabilization
- Skills training (preventative maintenance), and
- Services coordination and monitoring
