Crisis Support Specialist- Part time
The Crisis Support Specialist provides assistance to individuals with mental health needs in developing and enhancing daily living skills and in utilizing and re connecting to the natural supports available in their community and to their family. The CSS will collaborate with the Crisis Network Team. The Crisis Support Specialist reports to the Crisis Coordinator. Hours of employment are varied depending upon the need of the consumer and the house in which one works. The CSS will be required to work evenings and weekends to assist individuals in developing their natural support circle and achieving their goals. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree in related field preferred, previous Human Service experience s also preferred. Must possess a clean driving record with no more then two 2 points and must be able to successfully pass a criminal background investigation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must be able to work with families, individuals of all ages, community agencies and co workers in a professional manner.
Employment Specialist Full Time
General Description The Employment Specialist will provide on the job training job coaching and drop in employment support services to an assigned caseload. Responsibilities include assisting individuals with mental health disabilities to successfully acquire and maintain competitive employment. Qualifications High School diploma required, A.A. degree preferred. The Employment Specialist may be a non degreed person with documentation of mental health experience. Additional experience must consist of at least two 2 years in direct service. Relevant work experience may be substituted for the above qualifications. Must possess a clean driving record documenting less than two 2 points and have the ability to pass a drug screening. Excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow through on assignments is a required. Schedule will mirror that of consumer s schedule work regardless of location, hours, and days.
